Working on hole transport in strained germanium heterostructures whether on Ge/Si core shell nanowires or Ge on SiGe quantum well. Hole spins in strained Ge heterostructure are good candidates for quantum spintronic applications. They are expected to display a relatively small effective mass, possibly long coherence times due to small natural abundance of Ge with non-zero nuclear spins and to the small hyperfine interaction of holes.
